Dr. Dunn graduated from the Medical College of Georgia in 2009 and has made Kona her home ever since.
Since her graduation, she has continued to pursue the top courses for continuing education. She is a Kois Graduate, the first and only female in the state of Hawaii, and is currently an accreditation candidate for the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry where there are less than 250 accredited members in the world.
She is published in the Journal of Cosmetic Dentistry and regularly participates with the Seattle Study Club. She is a Key Opinion Leader with Ivoclar Vivadent, dental product company, and is trained with the in-house milling machine for optimum treatment for her patients.
Dr. Dunn has been selected by her colleagues for Honolulu’s Best Dentist and Top Dentist consecutively since 2014 to the present. She also lectures to her colleagues throughout the state and mainland.
When Dr. Dunn is not in the office, she enjoys island life with her three dogs, lovebird, and tortoise.
Dr. Walker has been a dentist in Kona for over 30 years. He graduated from UOP Dental School with honors in 1985. Prior to that, he graduated from UCLA with a psychobiology degree. He is proud to have been recently honored by his peers as a top dentist in the state of Hawaii, and he was also distinguished as a best dentist in the annual West Hawaii Today poll.
Dr. Walker is known for his gentle painless dental treatments, and his office is very up to date with the latest dental technologies to enhance dental treatments. Dr. Walker strives to gain your trust and confidence by having the best dental team, being on-time, and offering the latest technologies to make dental care easier, faster and more comfortable.
He is certified in Biomimetic Dentistry, which reduces the need for cutting teeth down for crowns and helps to prevent root canal treatments whenever possible. In essence, it is utilizing the latest in dental materials and technology to preserve what we’ve got, for as long as we’ve got – just as nature intended.
Dr. Walker has completed Level 3 Certification in CEREC CAD/CAM dentistry, exemplifying his passion for continuing education.
Dr. Walker and his wife, Cathi, have two grown children, and three wonderful grandchildren. In his free time, he loves golfing, fishing, home repair/rehab projects and reading.
